How to ask us to delete your information
You can ask Taaluq Foundation to delete the information we hold about you. You do not need to give a reason.
- Email info@taaluqfoundation.org with the subject “Delete my data”
- Write to us at Surraya Health Care Hospital, Shah Faisal Colony No. 1, Behind Misali Park, Karachi
Please tell us the name, phone number, email address, or Facebook or Instagram username you used when you contacted us, so that we can find your record. We ask this only to be sure we are deleting the right person’s information.
If you messaged us on Facebook or Instagram
Tell us the username you messaged from. We will delete the conversation and any notes we made from it — your name, your city, and what you asked about.
You can also remove our access from Meta’s own settings: on Facebook, Settings → Apps and Websites, and remove Taaluq Foundation. That stops any further information reaching us, and you may then ask us to delete what we already hold.
If you sent us a form or a CV
Tell us the name and phone number you used. We will delete your submission, and a CV is deleted from our recruitment folder as well.
What happens next
- We confirm we have received your request.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days and write to tell you it is done.
- There is no charge, and asking does not affect any help you are receiving from us.
What we may have to keep
Pakistani law requires a registered non-profit to keep proper financial records. If you have donated, we must keep the record of that donation and its receipt as our accounts and our audit require. We will delete everything else — your contact details, your correspondence with us, and your inclusion in any list we use to contact people.
Medical records at Surraya Health Care and student records at Surraya Free School are kept under those institutions’ own rules; please ask them directly.
If we cannot find you
If we cannot match your request to a record, we will write and ask for one more detail. If we still cannot find anything, we will tell you plainly that we hold nothing about you.
