THE IMPACT OF HEAVY RAINFALL IN UNDERPRIVILEGED AREAS OF KARACHI

One of the greatest acts of kindness is to give charity to the poor and needy ones. In Islam, we can examine several incidents which show the importance of donation. By helping others you can lead your life towards success and it is a manner that is supported by our religion. Our Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) also commanded Muslims to help everyone in their needs and distress.

The three days of monsoon killed almost 90 people and destroyed 1000 houses across Pakistan. Street and homes were swamped with sewage water in Karachi. The residents of Karachi shared the videos and photos on social media, in which they bestowed submerged cars and motorcycles, and water which is entering houses and buildings, inflicting devastation in the country’s most populated city. Many underprivileged areas of Karachi are swamped in rainwater.

By the rise in water level, the Malir river overflow, and the Korangi causeway and crossing areas drown in the morning. By the early Wednesday morning, infringement at Lath and Thado dams in Gadap Town happens, which causes flooding in Korangi, Super Highway, and its adjacent areas. Due to this entire situation, the power supply of various parts of Karachi was affected. The death rate of the current time also climbed up.

The post rain storm has destroyed the whole city especially the underprivileged areas. The people of Orangi town were leading their life so harshly and sudden a rainstorm appears which destroyed the whole of those people. Due to heavy rainfall in Karachi, the water enters in the houses and destroyed each and everything. Some of the buildings fall down and many people died.
