Why this kit exists

Every volunteer speaks for Taaluq Foundation. When a student in Lahore, a doctor in Karachi and a Pakistani in Toronto all describe us the same way, people trust us faster.

Who we are

In one line

Taaluq Foundation is a movement of people who connect their hearts to those who need them, through education, healthcare, relief, clean water, climate action and technology.

In one paragraph

Taaluq means connection. Taaluq Foundation is a registered non-profit working across many fields at once: free education, free healthcare, disaster relief, meals and rations for families in need, clean drinking water, climate action, skills and technology, and faith-based character building. We have supported more than 19,000 people, served more than 80,000 meals and delivered 8,000 ration packs, across fifteen programmes under one umbrella. The Taaluq Youth Movement brings students and young professionals from every city into this work: serving, leading, and taking it further than any of us could alone.

Figures you may use

These are what the Foundation has reached so far, and every one of them is a floor, not a ceiling. They are the work of a small team; with volunteers in every city they are meant to multiply. Quote them as where we stand today, and say plainly that the next number depends on who joins.

FigureWhat it means
19,000+people supported
80,000+meals served
8,000ration packs delivered
10,856patients seen in our out-patient service
2,200patients at free medical camps
54free cataract surgeries
200+people trained in first aid
400+trees planted
13programmes, one umbrella

⛔ Use only these figures. Never round up, never invent, never estimate. If you need a figure that is not here, ask Head Office.

Our fields of work

Education · Healthcare · Disaster relief · Food and rations · Clean water · Climate and environment · Skills and technology · Faith and character · Global collaboration.

Programme names you will hear: Surraya School System (free school) · Surraya Health Care (free hospital) · Dehleez (community health centre) · Sabeel (clean water) · Taaluq bil Quran (Quran and character) · Rahnuma (guidance) · Shifa (women’s health) · Udaan (skills and technology) · Taaluq College of Science & Technology · Hunar (livelihood skills) · Hariyali (environment) · Sponsor a Child · Community Support (rations, meals, Qurbani, winter, emergency relief) · Apnaiyat (care for those who care) · Shukrana (recognition for those who give their time).

Alongside them run Pehchaan, the verified volunteer register, and Konpal Pehchaan for school students under 18. More programmes are in preparation; Head Office adds them to this page as they open, so this list is always the current one. If you hear a name that is not here, ask before using it.

Trust lines, used exactly as written

Every one of these can be produced on request, the same day. Use whichever fit; the first four belong in any formal letter.

Registrations and certifications

Registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, KAR No. 030 of 2016-17.

Registered with the Sindh Charities Registration and Regulation Commission, Government of Sindh — provisional registration, Category A, registration number SN-8496594277217044, valid to 20 November 2026.

Certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy, certificate number PCP/2025/1642.

Approved by the Federal Board of Revenue as a non-profit organisation under section 2(36)(c) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, registration number 8174927.

Zakat collection and use reviewed under Shariah guidance by Alhamd Shariah Advisory Services, certificate ASAS/307/002.

Giving partners

A partner charity of the i-Care Fund America, Inc., a United States 501(c)(3) charity, and of the i-Care Foundation in Pakistan.

A registered charity on LaunchGood, the global Muslim crowdfunding platform.

Giving from outside Pakistan. Send every overseas supporter to i-Care, at i-care-america.org, and tell Head Office so we can thank them. i-Care receives the gift and passes it to us on a monthly cycle, and it is the route that works today. Do not promise that a direct bank transfer from abroad will reach us — an approval for that is still in progress, and until it is finished a foreign transfer sent straight to our account is returned to the sender. LaunchGood is a credential, not a route you may use. We are a registered charity there, and you may say so — but a LaunchGood gift cannot reach our account either until the same approval is finished, so campaigns on it are run by Head Office alone. Never send a donor there yourself.

Non-profit programmes we have been verified for

Eight technology organisations run a non-profit programme, and each one checked our registration documents before approving us. That is eight separate organisations, most of them outside Pakistan, that examined who we are and said yes. Used together it is a real line of credibility, so use the one line rather than naming them singly:

Taaluq Foundation is approved for the non-profit programmes of Google, TechSoup, Zoho, Asana, Slack, Canva, Anthropic and OpenAI. Each of them verified our registration as a charity before approving us.

Say it exactly that way. They approved us for a programme; they did not fund us, sponsor us or endorse our work, and none of them is a partner of the Foundation. Say approved for their non-profit programme, or they verified us as a charity — never partner, never sponsor, never supported by. The proof is our account with each of them, not a certificate, so if a supporter wants to see something, send them to Head Office rather than promising a document.

Tools we work with

Google Workspace, Zoho, Asana, Slack, Canva, Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI). Say that we use them. Never quote a licence or a token number.

⛔ Do not add a credential that is not on this list, however sure you are of it, and do not say we are recognised by the Economic Affairs Division — we are not, and that one has been claimed for us by mistake before. A supporter who asks for the certificate must receive it the same day, and a claim we cannot produce costs us more than one we never made. If you believe something is missing here, tell Head Office and it will be added once the document is in hand.

How we sound

Warm, hopeful, confident, grateful. A friend inviting you into something meaningful, not a salesperson.

Our look

Colours — tap one to copy its code

⛔ Never use #0450A0 (withdrawn). Gold is an accent, never a background for long text.

Fonts, all free on Google Fonts

Poppins (Bold / ExtraBold) for headlines · Inter for body text · Noto Nastaliq Urdu for Urdu, with double line spacing in its own text box · Amiri for Arabic.

The logo

Never stretch, recolour, rotate or redraw it. Leave clear space around it equal to the height of the round mark’s inner figure. Never place the colour version on a busy photo without a navy panel behind it.

Photographs

Real people doing real work. Faces are welcome. Natural light, eye level, close enough to feel the moment. Show dignity and joy as well as need.

⛔ No stock photos, no other organisation’s logo in the centre, and no old photos carrying the old apostrophised watermark — Head Office has clean copies.

Ready captions — copy, then make them yours

Five golden rules

  1. Money always goes straight to Taaluq Foundation — through taaluqfoundation.org/donate-now or the official account Head Office gives you. Never collect cash or use a personal account. Tell Head Office who you brought, and the credit is yours.
  2. Before approaching a company or a university office, tell Head Office its name first, so two of us never approach the same place.
  3. Formal letters on Foundation letterhead are signed by Head Office. Fill in the letter from the library, send it to Head Office, and it comes back signed and sent within one working day. Personal messages from your own phone or email you may send yourself.
  4. Promise warmly, within limits. You may promise a thank-you, a certificate of appreciation, a report on what their support achieved, and a welcome at our work. Never promise money, jobs, discounts, tax certificates or anything only Head Office can grant.
  5. Overseas donations: do not ask for donations from abroad until Head Office confirms the channel. Collaboration, volunteering and introductions from abroad are always welcome.

How to reach Head Office

Your Shura Member is the easiest route, but you never have to wait for one. Any of these reaches Head Office directly, and you will have an answer the same working day:

  • WhatsApp 0336-1820787 — fastest, any hour, in Urdu, Roman Urdu or English.
  • admin@taaluqfoundation.org — a letter to be signed, a permission, anything with a document.
  • info@taaluqfoundation.org — general questions, and for anyone not yet registered.
  • taaluqfoundation.org/contact — the form, if you would rather write than message.

Who you send someone to

People will ask you things that are not yours to answer, and the worst answer is a guess. Pass them on, and tell Head Office you did, so nobody is dropped:

Who is askingWhere they goWhat you do
Someone who wants to volunteertaaluqfoundation.org/joinSend the link. Tell Head Office their name so we watch for the form.
Someone who needs help — treatment, school fees, rationinfo@taaluqfoundation.org or WhatsApp 0336-1820787⛔ Never promise help, an amount or a date. Take their name, number and city, send it in, and tell them Head Office will call.
A donor inside Pakistantaaluqfoundation.org/donate-nowSend them the page, never your own account. Give Head Office their name, number and email so they are thanked and receipted.
A donor outside Pakistani-care-america.orgi-Care is a United States 501(c)(3) and passes the gift to us. Do not say a direct bank transfer from abroad will reach us — today it is returned.
A company, school, university or clinic wanting to work with usadmin@taaluqfoundation.orgSend the name and city before you approach them, so two of us never knock on the same door.
A journalist, an FM station or a TV channeladmin@taaluqfoundation.org⛔ Never answer on behalf of the Foundation, even informally. Take their name and number and pass them straight on.
Anything you are not sure aboutWhatsApp 0336-1820787Ask. No question is too small, and asking is never held against you.

Before you approach an organisation, send us its name, its city and one line on what you want to do. That is enough for an answer.
