Who we are
Taaluq means connection: the bond between those who can give and those who need, built on trust. Since 2016 we have worked in Karachi on education, health, water, faith, skills and community support — through programmes we run ourselves.
How it began
Taaluq Foundation was founded in 2016 by Ismail Qamar, to improve the position of underprivileged families. He comes from a rural family and was no stranger to the hardships he set out to address.
“Every helping hand and every smile we see tells me we are making a difference. I see the good we do at Taaluq every day, and it is all thanks to our team and friends like you. Let us continue to create more of these stories.”Ismail Qamar · Founder and General Secretary
